EXCITING NEWS!!!!!

It's official! Scrapshotz will be holding another HotShotz contest and this year, the card makers are invited to pargticipate in the new Hot Shotz Cardz!! This is such a fun contest and I sooooo cannot wait to see trhe entries! Here are some details:

From April 1 to April 4, please post what you consider to be your very best single page layout in our Hot Shotz 2 Gallery or your very best card to our Hot Shotz Cardz gallery. Previously seen work is fine, just nothing that’s been published please.

We invite you to become a member or be a current member of our great online community in order to participate in either contest, and to advance in the contests.

On April 5, all members with 25 or more meaningful posts in our online forums will be allowed one vote each. Voting takes place by sending via PM your choices to KathyT – you get one vote for Hot Shotz 2 and one vote for Scrap Shotz Cardz in each round. The top 80% in each round will move on to challenge #1!

Challenge #1 will be announced on Sunday, April 6 and the contestants will have until Friday April 11 to submit their creations and post an additional 25 posts - we want to get to know you!!! (Not posting by the deadline per round will mean automatic elimination). Submissions will close, members again will have one day to vote, and then the top 80% from that round will move on.

We will have a total of 5 challenge rounds!

And you know what is REALLY exciting???? Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine, Canada’s first scrapbooking magazine by Canadians for Canadians, has agreed to PUBLISH the winning layout AND the winning card in their Winter 2008-09 issue!!!!!!!!!

and finally, aong with that fabulous opportunity, both grand prize winners will also receive a HUGE prize package from Scrap Shotz valued at $100 PLUS the super hot new BIG BITE Crop a Dile!!! The Grand Prize Hot Shotz 2 winner will be our guest designer for the month of July, and the Hot Shotz Cardz Grand Prize winner will be out guest designer with our Cardz Shotz Kit for one month!!

Our two First Place Winners will each receive a June Scrap Shotz Monthly Kit!!
