Some Blog Candy

I wanted to switch things up a bit so I didn't do a traditional card kit, instead I threw together a few things and offer it up to any who are interested ;) I am running this for 2 weeks and will draw a name at 8:00 pm EST on 18 May 08.

As you can see in the picture, there are a few 6x6 sheets of pp (and a few smaller pieces), some felt ribbon, some regular ribbon, prima flowers, bazzill flowers and some of my handmade felt flowers and embossed foam.

If you are interested in a shot at getting this in your mailbox, all you have to do is create a card inspired by this sketch and post a link to your card in the comments section. This is sketch #257 from "Little Book of Sketches", click on the picture to visit their site. I will post internationally :)

Here's my take on the sketch. I used the new Cosmo Cricket "Fleuriste". Sorry about the picture but I took it at night in crappy lighting and then tried to fix it with software I barely understand LOL....

Take care of yourself!!

April Card Kit Challenge

Okay, I didn't get the greatest response to my first card kit challenge - I am blaming it on the colour purple.
This month I am offering up a card kit with some yummy Prima paper and blossoms, a few stamped images, ribbon, a chipboard frame etc..

Here is a sketch from PageMaps

Please create a card based on this sketch and post a link to it in the comments section. At the end of the month I will draw a name to win this nifty little card kit! Thanks for looking, I hope you play along!

March Card Kit Challenge

It's official, I love cards (and it has nothing to do with all the yummy stamps I get to buy ;) So, in the spirit of cardmaking and stamping, I am going to offer up a card kit (see below) to one lucky person! All you have to do is make a card from the sketch provided to me from Carla and post a link in the comments section, at the end of the month I will draw for the lucky winner!

I couldn't decide on what sentiment to put in so I did one large and one small, both are stamped in sepia and heat embossed.

That second sheet of paper is actually purple velvet, soooo yummy!
